Along with Maine snowmobiling news, content includes reports from many of our clubs, state association officers and committee chairs of the goings-on within the association. The September issue of the Maine Snowmobiler is mailed to every household which registered a sled in Maine during the previous season. Due to increased circulation, advertising is billed at a flat rate of $23 per column inch, with a 5% discount for prepayment. Deadline for advertisements for September, 2007 issue: August 10, 2007. A special rate of $20 per column inch is available to Maine Snowmobile Show exhibitors. COVER THE WINTER PACKAGE DISCOUNTS
Advertising that covers the four snowiest months of the Maine winter is available in a few sizes at the discounted rate of $12 per column inch! Sizes available are: 2 col. x 2" ($192); 2 col. x 4" ($384); 2 col. x 6" ($576) and 3 col. x 3" ($432). To be eligible for the special Cover the Winter discount your ad must be black and white, run with no changes in the Dec., Jan., Feb and March issues of the Maine Snowmobiler and be prepaid for the full run. As an extra bonus, advertisers who participate in the program receive an additional placement of their Cover the Winter ad in the April issue - for free! Deadline November 9, 2007. EDITORIAL:
Contact: Maine Snowmobiler Editor MSA members' letters to the editor regarding snowmobiling issues are welcome. Please include your name, mailing address, telephone number and club with your submission. Letters may be edited for length/style. Deadline is the 15th of the month preceding publication. All MSA clubs are welcome to submit Club News and Calendar listings for the newspaper. Note name of club and include club correspondent's name and telephone number (or email address). Club news may be edited for length/style. Calendar listings should include event, date, time, location and club name, and any other pertinent details. (Calendar listings are also posted on this site following publication of the Snowmobiler) Deadline for club news and calendar is the 15th of the month preceding publication. Photographs taken by members are also welcome and are used as space permits. If the photographer wishes a credit, please note "Photo by" and the photographer's name on the back of the photo. Photos will be returned if requested. You may also email your photos. Members often contribute articles regarding special club events, honors, fundraisers, bridge dedication, trips etc. which cannot be included within the space restraints of the club news. These are welcome, and will be used as space permits. May be edited for length/style. All other snowmobiling/industry news releases should be faxed/emailed as noted above. |
